Dr. Xiaowei Li is currently a Professor of Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He joined Peking University as post-doctor in 1991. From 1993 to 2000 he was with Department of Computer Science at Peking University. During 1997 to 1999, he was Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Hong Kong, and Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan.
Dr. Li’s research interests include VLSI testing, fault-tolerant computing, many-core processor design & verification, and hardware security. He has participated in 20+ projects from both academic and industry in these areas, and helped to develop some systems and software tools. He holds 70+ patents and 50+ software copyrights. Dr. Li had published 400+ refereed journal and conference papers in his research areas.
Dr. Li received his both B.S. in 1985 and M.S. in 1988 in Computer Science from Hefei University of Technology (China), and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1991.
